Our client’s lavish wedding at Wave Hill complete with a perfectly fitting garden party theme was an absolute joy to plan and design.
The bride was stunning in her strapless, sweetheart neckline lace bodice wedding gown by EF Bridal with a lace overlay top and white heels with sparkling accents from Amina Muaddi. Her hair was styled by Mikel Styled and was left down with soft waves in her brunette locks. Her luminous makeup by Natalie Lageyre highlighted her blue eyes and joyous smile for this momentous occasion.
The couple had a first look portrait session as they strolled through the garden’s pathways. The couple’s two best friends officiated the ceremony as their closest family and friends sat nearby beneath a canopy tent with twinkling lights. The bride carried a white floral bouquet tied together with white lace at the bottom created by Little Sister Creative NYC as she met her groom at the end of the aisle that was lined with abundant colorful floral arrangements.
The groom was dressed in a classic black tuxedo from Michael Andrews Bespoke. Guests then headed to an indoor reception where long white tablecloth-covered tables with white vases full of colorful flowers awaited them. Tall, white taper candles in clear glass candle holders illuminated the tables. Disco balls and colorful floral arrangements were abundant throughout the venue.
Place settings were made up with clear glass plates and silver flatware where guests sat down to a meal catered by GP Food. A three-tier white buttercream cake by Empire Cake NYC sat on display surrounded by disco balls for all to enjoy. The bride changed into a short, silver reception dress with white, purple, and pink flowers and silver, strappy heels to dance to music by DJ 305 Bananas. Mir Mir Photo supplied the photo booth as a fun reception activity for guests to have a memento from the big day.
