This multicultural New York City wedding started with an intimate ceremony at a local gurdwara then moved to a unique location, the Central Park Zoo and was lovingly and expertly planned by our team.
The bride was luminous in an off-the-shoulder white silk wedding gown by Amsale with layered long sleeves and blue satin Manolo Blahniks. Beauty Icon NYC styled her hair to be left down in voluminous, glossy waves and topped with a lacy headband and veil. She wore an aquamarine and diamond necklace to accessorize her look. Her cathedral-length gown trailed behind as she made her way down the yellow carpet-lined aisle to meet her groom on the platform surrounded by colorful floral arrangements.
The groom was impeccably dressed in a double-breasted black tuxedo from Suit Supply with Christian Louboutin shoes. Birch Event Design created a lovely blue and white pageant bouquet for the bride to carry.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the courtyard of the zoo. They sipped on refreshments as the sea lions played nearby. The reception tables were covered with block-printed floral tablecloths that were handcrafted in Jaipur and marigolds draped the ceiling above the dancefloor. Tall, white pillar candles in crystal candle holders illuminated the tables while colorful floral centerpieces added a splash of color.
Halfway through the reception, the bride changed into a red dress, complemented with red lipstick and gold jewelry, which was a gift from her mother-in-law. A magnificent cake with multiple layers created by From Lucie NYC was decorated with colorful flowers and white buttercream and enjoyed by all. Nihal Singh, Rebecca Cherry, and Jarrell Entertainment all provided music for guests to celebrate late into the night.
