We have been going where the party takes us since 2017! Today, we are throwing it back to one of the first destination weddings we have ever planned. It was in one of the dreamiest destination wedding locations in the US (Vermont!). On top of that, the couple wanted an editorial-style for their wedding, which I personally just love. Whatever you’ve envisioned for your big day, everything must be perfect when that day finally arrives. Although I always want my weddings to unequivocally represent my couples and what they love, it’s just an added bonus when they are leaning into a style that I love as well.
Whether you want a rustic, whimsical, or contemporary wedding, Veronica Joy Events was created to help you channel your vision to reality. I also want to make sure you have a lot of fun doing it! If that sounds like the wedding planning vibes you have been looking for, reach out here and we can schedule a consultation right away. With all that said, let’s have a look at our very first real destination wedding with Danielle and Mark at the stunning Riverside Farm in Vermont.
If you are looking for a unique and rustic wedding venue, Riverside Farm in Vermont is an excellent choice. As a wedding planner, I know first hand how much choosing the right wedding venue effects the entire day. If you are looking for a destination wedding venue in the USA, Riverside Farm is complete with over 700 acres and six barn venues. You’ll truly feel like you have entered a whole new world where you can just enjoy yourself and let any outside stresses just melt away.
We all love an outdoor wedding venue, but there are many times when an indoor wedding venue might be the right choice. If you hate your backup plan and are going to stress about the weather forecast months before the wedding, you need to find an indoor wedding venue you’ll love as much as this one.
Riverside Farm has six different barn locations. This means even if you have your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception all indoors, you can have a variety of locations and design. I loved the intimate and warm space Danielle and Mark chose for their wedding ceremony. I also loved the grand rustic barn wedding venue they chose for the reception! Really, there are no bad options. Do what’s right for you (and find a wedding planner who will encourage you to want what you really want). Then, let’s make it happen!
Even though the wedding was inside, we spent more than enough time outdoors for the wedding photos! Danielle and Mark wanted an editorial style (they both come from editorial backgrounds). Eden Strader knocked it out of the park. I’ve worked with many talented wedding photographers as a destination wedding planner, but I still can’t help but smile when I look at these stunning photos.
Although I always believe having the right wedding planner is important, with a destination wedding it becomes even more so. I had the pleasure of taking part in Danielle and Mark’s wedding with a special touch…The band didn’t have a brass instrument but their dad loved a specific song. So, I learned it and played it at the wedding for them. It was so special! As you can tell, I never take no for an answer. If you want something on your wedding day, I will make it happen.
It’s no secret that planning a wedding takes time. If you want a perfect wedding day, find someone who is not just experienced and professional. It is important to find a wedding planner you can personally click with from the get-go. Whether you feel like VJE is the right fit or not, I hope you invest in the right wedding planner for you. And that they go above and beyond to make you feel like the most incredible two people in the world!
